End Of Days

He sits in the corner of the room, eyes set tight on a small speck of concrete in the wall that does not match. "It's coming." He says before belowing a mighty maniacal laugh. Silence befalls the earth, not a single spoken word, a creak from a tree, or the bark of a dog. Everyone shivers, the air is warm but not a single human being can feel it, they're too cold. The concrete spot on the mans wall turns into a crack, growing slowly, it's the only sound, and everyone can hear it. Everyone heard the end of days breaking through the surface of time.
